ABOUT

COMPANY PROGRAM

18 WEEKS.

1 COMPANY.

UNLIMITED POTENTIAL.

JA’s Company Program is an experience like no other! Join a group of like-minded high school students to start and run a business, make some amazing friends, and learn all about the world of work.

In this 18 week after school program, you will create and manage a business that matters to you, with the help of a student group and volunteer mentors.

Together with your team, you will discover the fascinating, dynamic world of entrepreneurship. From setting up a business, creating your own product and promoting your company, to learning teamwork, creativity and networking – you’ll develop all the skills you need to plan your exciting future.

How does it work?

Company Program is a free and inclusive opportunity for students in grades 9-12 across Central Ontario. Generous corporate partners throughout the community not only provide the funding for the program but also – and most importantly – employees from their organization also act as volunteer mentors to shape and support your journey (referred to as Advisors).

You will join a group of like-minded students who will, under the guidance of expert Advisors, create, manage, and liquidate a business in 18 weeks. You will use real money, real products, and have real customers.

Company Program gives student participants important real-world experience; helping to build their confidence and pushing them to go beyond what they think is possible.
